Key Responsibilities:
Server-Side Development: Node.js developers are primarily responsible for building and maintaining server-side applications, handling client requests, and managing server resources.

API Development: Creating RESTful or GraphQL APIs for communication between the server and client applications.

Database Integration: Connecting the application to databases like MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL to store and retrieve data.

Middleware Development: Developing middleware components to handle tasks like authentication, logging, and request/response processing.

Performance Optimization: Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in the application, such as optimizing code and implementing caching strategies.

Security: Ensuring the application is secure by implementing best practices like input validation, authentication, and authorization.

Testing and Debugging: Writing unit tests, integration tests, and using debugging tools to identify and fix issues in the code.

Package Management: Managing dependencies using tools like npm or Yarn and staying up to date with the latest packages and security patches.

Deployment and DevOps: Configuring and deploying applications to production servers, and collaborating with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and scaling.

Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Setting up CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, testing, and deployment processes.
