Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning: Develop and document a comprehensive test plan that outlines the scope, objectives, resources, and schedule for the testing process.

Test Case Design: Create detailed test cases based on software requirements, functional specifications, and user stories. Test cases should cover a wide range of scenarios and use cases.

Test Execution: Execute test cases to identify defects, issues, or unexpected behavior in the software. This often involves manual testing, automated testing, or a combination of both.

Defect Identification: Identify and report defects, issues, or inconsistencies in the software, providing clear and detailed descriptions of the problems encountered.

Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality. This helps maintain software stability.

Automation Testing: If applicable, develop and maintain automated test scripts to increase efficiency and repeatability of testing processes.

Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to evaluate the system's responsiveness, scalability, and reliability under different load conditions.

Security Testing: Assess the security of the software through activities like penetration testing and vulnerability scanning to identify potential security risks.

Documentation: Maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test data, and test results. This documentation is essential for traceability and compliance.

Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to communicate test results, prioritize bug fixes, and ensure that quality issues are addressed in a timely manner.
