Key Responsibilities:
Assessment: Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' concerns, backgrounds, and goals for counseling.

Emotional Support: Provide a safe and empathetic environment where clients can express their feelings, thoughts, and concerns without judgment.

Crisis Intervention: Assist clients in managing and coping with crises, such as trauma, grief, or sudden life changes.

Individual or Group Therapy: Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions or group therapy sessions, depending on the client's needs and the counselor's specialization.

Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans that outline therapeutic goals and interventions to help clients achieve their desired outcomes.

Psychoeducation: Educate clients about mental health issues, coping strategies, and techniques for improving their emotional well-being.

Conflict Resolution: Help clients navigate and resolve conflicts in their personal and professional lives, providing guidance and mediation when necessary.

Referral and Collaboration: Collaborate with other professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers, and make referrals when additional services or expertise are needed.

Ethical Practices: Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality while providing counseling services.

Self-Care: Engage in self-care practices to prevent burnout and maintain their own emotional well-being, as the demands of counseling can be emotionally taxing.
