Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning: Collaborating with the QA team to create a test plan that outlines the scope, objectives, and resources required for testing.

Test Case Design: Developing detailed test cases and test scripts based on software requirements and design documents, including positive and negative scenarios.

Test Execution: Executing test cases manually, carefully following the test scripts to verify that the software behaves as expected.

Defect Identification: Identifying and documenting defects or issues in the software, including steps to reproduce, expected behavior, and actual results.

Regression Testing: Conducting regression tests to ensure that new changes or updates haven't introduced unintended side effects or broken existing functionality.

Exploratory Testing: Performing exploratory testing to uncover unanticipated issues or usability problems that scripted tests may not catch.

Documentation: Creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Communication: Communicating test results and defects to developers, project managers, and other stakeholders, and working collaboratively to resolve issues.

Adherence to Standards: Ensuring that the testing process adheres to established QA and testing standards, methodologies, and best practices.

Test Environment Setup: Preparing and configuring the necessary test environments, including hardware, software, and data, to mimic the production environment.
