Key Responsibilities:
Application Development: Writing, testing, and deploying Java code to develop and maintain software applications, including web applications, mobile apps, and desktop applications.

Code Review: Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices.

Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identifying and fixing bugs and issues in the application code, including performance bottlenecks and errors.

API Development: Building and maintaining APIs for data access, integration with other systems, and communication between different software components.

Database Integration: Connecting Java applications to databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) through JDBC or object-relational mapping (ORM) frameworks like Hibernate.

Testing: Writing unit tests and integration tests to validate the functionality and reliability of the application code.

Software Architecture: Participating in the design and architecture of the software, making decisions regarding the use of design patterns and frameworks.

Security: Ensuring the security of Java applications through best practices like input validation, authentication, and encryption.

Performance Optimization: Identifying and optimizing code or database queries to improve application performance and responsiveness.

Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and quality assurance, to develop and deliver software projects.
