Key Responsibilities:
Test Automation Development: Create and maintain test automation scripts using appropriate testing frameworks and tools. These scripts are designed to validate software functionality and identify defects.

Test Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with the QA team to develop automation test strategies, define test cases, and plan test execution, ensuring adequate test coverage.

Script Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain automated test scripts to reflect changes in the software application, ensuring the scripts remain accurate and reliable.

Regression Testing: Perform automated regression testing to quickly detect and report any regressions or issues introduced by code changes.

Integration Testing: Automate integration testing to verify that different components or modules of the software work together as expected.

Performance Testing: Develop and execute automated performance tests to assess the software's speed, responsiveness, and scalability under various conditions.

Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD): Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to provide quick feedback on code changes and ensure that the application is always in a releasable state.

Data-Driven Testing: Implement data-driven testing approaches, using different data sets to validate various scenarios and edge cases.

Defect Reporting: Document and report defects accurately, providing detailed information to assist developers in the debugging and resolution process.

Tool Selection and Evaluation: Evaluate and choose the right automation testing tools and frameworks to suit the project's needs and stay updated on industry best practices.
